When You Need a Vertical Collage

Vertical format — height greater than width. Use it for:

  • Instagram and VK Stories — 9:16, full phone screen
  • Portrait posts — full-length shots, architecture, trees
  • Portrait printing — on A4 in portrait orientation
  • Phone wallpapers — collage as lock screen

Tips for a Beautiful Vertical Collage

Use vertical photos. Horizontal shots in a vertical collage get side-cropped. Use portrait frames or crop in the editor.

Center the main subject. Especially for Stories — keep faces and key objects in the middle.

Choose narrow frames. Thin frames — White Classic, Silver Classic — work well vertically. Wide frames shrink visible photo area.

Keep color unity. Warm with warm, cool with cool — vertical collages read as one piece.

Vertical Collage for Printing

For portrait print — match photo orientation and grid to the sheet:

  • A4 Portrait (210×297 mm) — 1×2 or 2×3 grids
  • A5 Portrait (148×210 mm) — 1×2 for two shots

Download PNG (max quality) or PDF. For home printing open PNG and choose "Fit to page."
