How to Create a Memorial Collage
Step 1 — Choose Photos
Pick shots that best capture the person: a smile, favorite activities, family moments, special dates. You don't need many — 4–6 photos are enough to tell a life story.
Step 2 — Choose a Format
Open the editor. On the "Canvas" tab:
- A4 Portrait — for printing and framing
- Square 1:1 — for a memorial post
- A4 Landscape — for a wide memorial collage
Step 3 — Choose a Layout
On the "Layout" tab:
- 1×1 — one main photo, large and dignified
- 2×2 — four shots from different years
- 3×2 — six photos for a detailed portrait
Click a cell and upload photos. Double-click to crop inside the cell.
Step 4 — Choose a Design
On the "Frames" tab, select a restrained, dignified frame:
- "Decor" category — neutral elegant options: white, gray, dark border
- "No Frame" — if you want minimalist styling
Avoid bright festive frames — they are out of place here.
Step 5 — Download
Click "Export":
- PNG / Print — for printing and framing (~4800 px)
- PDF — to send to a print shop
- JPG — for a memorial post on social media

Collage for an Obituary Notice
If you need a strict, dignified collage for an official notice or publication:
- A4 Portrait format
- 1×1 grid — one main photo (portrait)
- "No Frame" or a thin dark frame from the "Decor" category
- Export quality — Print for maximum resolution
Collage for a Memorial Page
For a memorial page on VK or a pinned post:
- Square 1:1 or 4:3 format
- Several shots from different years in a 2×2 grid
- Neutral restrained frame
- Download as JPG
Important
Photos never leave your browser. All images are processed only on your device and are not uploaded to any servers. This is especially important when working with personal family photos.
The editor saves your draft automatically. If you need to pause — your work will be restored the next time you open it.
